Hello to all!
As many of you know the last couple of days the squad has been in Atlanta, Georgia for last minute training and the official launch of the 9 month journey!
Let me just say how truly blessed I have been in the months of preparation for this trip. Many of you have prayed for me specifically, given financially, and probably attended a garage sale or eaten a delicious mullet dinner. And right now I just want to take the time to thank you- it may be informal but God has used all of you in such a mighty way to advance His Kingdom. How cool is that?! I am continually humbled by your prayers and presence in my life. Praise God!
On the flight to launch, a song came on my iPod that just spoke straight to my heart and I thought that I would share the lyrics!
If my hear is overwhelmed, and I cannot hear Your voice
I hold on to what is true, though I cannot see
If the storms of life they come, and the road ahead gets steep
I will light these hands in faith, I will believe
I'll remind myself, of all that You've done
And the life I have, because of Your son
Love came down and rescued me, Love came down and set me free
I am Yours, Lord I'm forever Yours
Mountains high or valley low, I sing out and remind my soul
I am Yours, I am forever Yours
God's love has just came down and washed over me so abundantly in the past couple of months. He has blessed me with vivid opportunities of His presence and people who were willing to obey His will. So praise God and thank you for your support.
Tomorrow the Passport Immersion squad will be leaving behind our comfortable America to the beautiful Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The mood in the hotel right now is excited and just SO READY TO GO!
I love you all so much and keep those prayers coming!
